Dance sensation Serene Williams inspired the hearts of many as she performed and competed across the world. As the lead performer in the A Company of Samantha Rhoten's renowned studio, Serene was admired and revered by many, especially her protégé Erica and young daughter Angie. However, on the night of her premiere performance as a Blackpool champion, a freak accident resulted in Serene's death, a moment that shook the foundation of the dance world and left Erica and Angie trembling in the wake of this tragedy. Fourteen years later, Angie has been doing her best to stay away from the dance world. But, she finds herself irresistibly drawn back into the fold when she reunites with Samantha's son Darren.
