Mrs. Mimi (Birgitte Reimer) is the only and very spoiled child of a nouveau rich family in pork and petroleum; her husband (Olaf Nordgreen) belongs to a less well-to-do, but old and highly regarded patrician family. That these two beings have found each other and have married each other can be seen as a mystery.
