In `Electric Light` a lonely cop is getting lonelier. It combines a parody of the science fiction genre and a persiflage of crime movies. It is a surreal and grotesque postmodern cinematic concept stemming from Teuscher`s experience in the fields of classical short, documentary film, theater, performance and media art. With a simplistic, experimental approach, as well as few resources, this purely independent project was produced, written and directed by Teuscher with the support of a large network of artists, designers, jokers, friends, family and believers. Inspired from Werner Fassbinder, all takes were shot only one time. A shooting day was not longer than 8 hours. There was no storyboard, the sequence plan was created spontaniously on set, in reaction to the behaviors of the actors in the room.
