In India there is a tribe whose tradition states that the first daughter of a family has to become a prostitute. The story deals with an urban girl who finds out that her mother belonged to this tribe and starts her journey to find her. Her mother sent her to town with one of her lovers because she never wanted her daughter to follow the tradition of her village but wanted her daughter to be educated and get married. It is a story of a mother who scarified her motherhood to bring a new ray of light into her daughter's life.
