Archie and Sonny are two buddies - good-hearted mobsters from surreal L.A. Despite the fact that they perform all sorts of dirty jobs for their Mafia boss Don Blatto, he still plans to arrange for their immediate destruction. A hair's breadth away from death, as events unfold the two buddies not only escape their demise, but also become fabulously wealthy. Don Blatto's children, both child prodigies, learn, through subliminal messages gleaned from TV programs, that an asteroid is heading toward the earth. Because of this, the richest people throughout this surreal America are secreting away all of their wealth in the underground vault of Big Museum. The valuables will be transported there by a convoy of vans. The FBI designs operation "Garlic and Gunpowder", during which the Italian Mafia and the Chinese Triad will annihilate each other in their desire to take control of the wealth.
