Takeuchi, a demolition worker in a small port town, lives an enjoyable life looking out for his friends. One day, a young man named Kaoru appears before them. The friends quickly accept Kaoru into their group, and Kaoru takes keenly to their simple life. The everyday life that Takeuchi and his friends used to spend together becomes all the merrier with the addition of Kaoru, and their days seem all the more fun and lively. Until. The burdens of Takeuchi's lingering past begin to take root in the hearts of the others. Amongst all this, Kaoru confesses a secret to Takeuchi. Gentle like a small patch of sunlight, this is a heart-warming and simple story.
