Angélica Liddell is one of the most important European contemporary playwrights. Her work is closer to performance art than to conventional drama. She makes "documentary theatre" where life and work are intermingled. For the first time, Liddell allows a camera to come into the rehearsal room, so that it becomes witness to the preparation of one of her plays, her latest work All the Sky Above the Earth. The Wendy syndrome. 'Angélica [a tragedy]' depicts the creative process of the playwright Angélica Liddell. It uses images of the rehearsals of her latest play, photographic self-portraits, diaries and domestic videos so as to reflect an artistic universe racked by loneliness, sex, love, beauty and death.
