He wants to be just like the cool kid in school, who had once been good friends and now got on the varsity team. Soon enough, Jake's ambition will become an addiction; happiness will become self destruction. Jake fails to fit in with the popular group of the school; a shy, quiet Jake becomes isolated and introverted.
