Luc and Pat take a trip up to Pat's family cabin for their winter break, but when Luc gets dumped by his girlfriend Margot, he finds himself in a tense and paranoid state of mind. Meanwhile, in the guest house of the cabin, Pat's uncle Richard (a struggling musician/pot head) and his girlfriend Alexis find themselves near the end of their long relationship. While Richard attempts to figure out his music career, Alexis is left with time on her own. This becomes complicated with the arrival of the melancholy Shaun, Richard's nephew and Pat's older brother. These events only get more complicated when Luc and Pat meet two girls who are also vacationing whom they invite over for a party.
