The architect Ryan Cunningham is raising alone his nephew Tom Hilary and his two nieces Alice and Luisa Hilary after the tragic death of his sister.Ryan has organized with his colleague Eliza a party: Stacey MacDonald is working for the catering service of her friend and in that party she meets with the three children and Ryan: the children and Stacey feel well together and Ryan proposes to contract her for taking care of the children in the vacations.Stacey, who is very interested in Ryan, becomes little by little jealous on Eliza who is coming every day to Tom's house.On the other side the mother of Ryan, Evelyn Cunningham insists on sending the grandchildren to Britain for a better education.But the three children want to stay in New Zealand with Tom and Stacey.
