After the devastating Asia Minor Disaster, two young siblings, the older brother, Lorettis, and his little sister, Roula, become separated. Lorettis ends up in cosmopolitan Paris where he leads a dangerous criminal life, and Roula finds refuge in Thessaloniki. However, after several years, the estranged siblings will unknowingly reunite at a party, and as one thing leads to another, Lorettis seduces Roula. When the truth comes to light, shocked Roula files charges against Lorettis, with tragic consequences.
