The 21-year-old Nicolette has just moved in together in Rotterdam with Mohammed, a boy of Moroccan origin. The boxes are hardly unpacked or seems to take place a heavy attack in the port of Rotterdam. After much speculation happens now genuinely in the Netherlands dozens of deaths, massive panic and chaos. The disaster appears to have even more pressing consequences for Nicolette if Mohammed is arrested on suspicion of complicity. Fully convinced of the innocence of her friend pulls Nicolette battle against the prejudices, chaos and lawlessness that prevails plots in Netherlands. Gradually, however, there are indications that Muhammad may well be involved in the case. Nicolette is forced to make a choice between the belief in love and the harsh reality.
