Saskia and her parents go on holiday, but not to their luxury Portuguese home this year, instead to an ugly campsite. What Saskia doesn´t know is that her parents are in financial trouble, and are on the run from criminals. Across from their holiday home resides a Sinti family. Despite their cultural differences and a high level of mutual suspicion, Saskia becomes friends with the boy Dukker, and slowly discovers that nothing is as it seems.
