Perestroika hits the tropics in this romantic comedy set in Havana and Buenos Aires. Pepito wants the American Dream. Trouble is, he's a long time draft-dodger at the University of Havana avoiding the war in Angola. What's worse, he's been caught and ordered to report for army duty. But a bus crash at the Argentine Embassy in Havana gets him asylum and an unexpected side trip to Buenos Aires. There he discovers capitalism and girl problems.
