A six year old girl named Isabel escapes from an orphanage to search for the man she believes is her father. the only thing she has to go by is a fake birth certificate (forged by two other girls). She is found by a poor young man, who happens to be the man on the fake birth certificate. As their relationship steadily becomes father/daughter, there are some who would rather see them torn apart. Also, a young woman from a wealthy family, whose daughter was taken from birth, comes searching.
