Hoppy clears Lucky on a charge of bank robbery and foils the plot of a crooked lawyer to rustle a herd of pedigree cattle and take over the valley. Hoppy is the foreman on a ranch owned by Randall Glenn. Lawyer Cal Howard is trying to pressure Glenn into mortgaging his property, but Hoppy saves the ranch and gets the girl, Glenn's daughter. One of Hoppy's best friends is the main suspect in a bank robbery. Though he is innocent, a sheriff's posse hunts him down, forcing him to keep out of sight. Hoppy is determined to find the true perpetrator of the crime, but some tough hombres try to prevent his finding the real culprit.
