This eye–opening documentary takes us behind the walls of “common interest developments” from Johannesburg to Las Vegas and asks why such communities exist and what the realities of living “on the safe side” are. Corinna Wichmann was born in Warendorf in 1970. She received her Diploma in Photography and Film Design at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld 1996. Since 1995 Corinna Wichmann works as freelance Photographer, Writer and Director of Photography. In 2002 she received her postgraduate Diploma in Film and Television at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
