This documentary on the life and work of Polish filmmaker, theater director and politician Kazimierz Kutz shows a man driven by love – for art, humanity, and the women in his life. Director Mirosława Sikorska weaves her portrait from fragments of films and theatrical performances, testimonies from friends and collaborators, and interviews with Kutz himself. The film also pays great attention to the places whose special qualities inspired him as an artist and shaped him as a human being. We see a sensitive man who sometimes lose his way a little, but is always brazenly honest and pursues all his goals with relentless conviction. Like a mirror, Kutzowizna shows Kutz as a viewer, watching the story of his own life.
