In this movie, which is based on stories by Oskar Luts, the old fart Saamuel Pliuhkam gets his hands on a gigantic cabbage head with what he plans to win the prize at the local fare. However, when the foreign journalist Harrison, who happens to be in the country to report about it's recently acquired independence, writes an article about the fruit which gets printed by New York Times, American crooks, Chinese communists and the KGB set out to steal the cabbage.
