A documentary about lomography LOMO LCA is an unprepossessing compact camera from Russia, which after the political turmoil of 1989 suddenly finds itself at the start of a sparkling new career in the West. A group of students in Vienna take its fate into their hands and found a worldwide movement and a new kind of photography - lomography. Hundreds of thousand of people find the pressure of having to take perfect pictures lifted from them. The protagonists meet Putin, ride the wave of the IT boom and almost fall off it when the analogue depression comes along. But innovation and creativity win through, and boldness is always rewarded in the end. "Lomo emboldens!"
