加里-凯尔普因父亲的逝世而陷入困境，因为他在无意中发现父亲的尸体居然被用于器官移植，而他对此毫不知情。当他重返一个名为“信息摘要”的机构工作时，他又为他的新工作而目瞪口呆：他需要编写一本有插图的家庭医生手册，为此他的电脑屏幕上堆满了各种各样的疾病症状示意图。这种工作开始以一种奇特的方式渗入他的生活，加里开始敏感的意识到自己身体的各部分，他开始分解自己…… So many Australian comedies have nothing to say, this is not one of them. So many Australian movies are shot like a TV show, this is not one of them. So many Australians movies disappoint in the end, unfortunately this is one of them. The Director of Photography should be given the AFI, Samuel Johnson is much less annoying than normal, Colin Friels is respectable, but in the end this movie is lacking something. I don't know what, but I know after seeing it I felt no different than before I saw it, and that wasn't the intention of this movie. That said this is a respectable movie. For an Australian movie it is very very good, and it highlights why the Australian film industry is in the dumps, because virtually no one saw this movie. You can't get funding if people wont see movies. I've seen much much worse Hollywood films that this recently, but Australians keep donating money to the American Studio system while ignoring their own.
