Poems, is a film about a traveling couple, shot in Jamaica, a journey of two people seeking each other out in moments coupled with the low drumming sounds of water, wind, birds and seeping reggae music. The sounds fuzzy, static’d and warm becomes the backdrop of this couples trip through the island - its sunset tourist beaches, to its rolling hills and pedestrians. It's a raw film that breaks rules and makes some of it own by abandoning certain filmic ideas. A collaboration with Anya Peters.
