The police is the emblem of power and authority, but when the officers take off their uniforms, they all lead secular lives like normal citizens. Constable Kadedra is about to be promoted to detective, but it does not mean her work will be any easier. Alternating between family and the police station, she has to stay alert every minute and rest is simply too luxurious for her. The film meticulously records her working procedures, from the quarrel that happens on her way to work, work briefing, to the disturbance on the street, which from time to time crystallises into subtle glimpses of humanity and personality. The short film ends with an unexpected twist that puts Kadedra in a predicament that questions her professional ethics and conscience.
