Yajie, a mistress of a government official in Beijing, is in her 30s, out of shape and losing popularity. After the official was put into prison, she returned Chongqing her hometown that she left twenty years ago to start a new life. Gao Jie, a taxi driver, whose mother became a vegetable at a medical accident. He divorced and brought up his son Gao Yuan alone. Gao Jie wanted to help Gao Yuan get married and find a job after he graduated. Gao Yuan is a gay. His boyfriend is from a rich family and plans to study abroad, so does Gao Yuan. Therefore, he tried to persuade Gao Jie to support him with the money that his father saved for his job-hunting and apartment purchasing. Gao Jie picked up Yajie at the airport.
