Nicole is a struggling writer who misses her ex, Adam; Chris is a frustrated studio musician who misses his band; Mary is a married yoga instructor and she misses some excitement; they're best friends since college and they get together to celebrate the wedding of Julia and Jimmy. Nicole brings some books and a notepad, Chris his guitar and a bottle of Jack, Mary is there with Ted, her workaholic husband. It's all fun and games until Adam's arrival opens a Pandora's box of secrets. He shows up with his new exotic girlfriend. Now Nicole wants him back, Chris only wants to get drunk and Mary confesses she's having an affair. Everything goes sour but their personal drama must be put on hold when tragedy hits and the wedding is suddenly cancelled.
