In America the Saint's friend Jack Rushden is investigating the suspicious deaths of three scientists working on explosive detection devices but is murdered whilst online to the Saint,the killer threatening to get him next. The Saint's investigations lead him to a scientific conference at a rural manor,where,with the help of computer expert Irina,he solves the case of the Software Murders.
