"The family of R.C Sekaran Thampi, I.G of Police (Ummar), was attacked and the lone survivor is his granddaughter. Sudhendran (Prem Nazeer), Balachandan (Mahu) and Jayadevan (Jose Prakash) are the officers assigned to catch Bullet Raghavan who is the mastermind behind the killings. Rajan (Shankar) who is the son of Sudhendran is in love with his Uncle Balachandran's daughter Sreekala. Raghavan tries to lure Balachandran into working for him,but when his plan fails he approaches Jayadevan. Jayadevan had grudges against Balachandran and found this as the perfect opportunity to get back at him. When Sekaran's assistant catches Jaydevan with Raghavan, they kill him and frame Balachandran. Balan is arrested and since Sudhendran and Sekaran consider the dead assistant's daughter as their own, it is decided that Rajan will marry her. Meanwhile, Raghavan wants his aide Mustafa (Mammootty) back and he wants Jayadevan to help him. He breaks free and as per his orders kidnaps Rajan and Sreekala ...
